Hello Beautiful People!
Last week I decided to re-read The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. By the way, if you haven't read this book, I challenge you to buy and read it. It has been life-changing for me!!! Anyways, in Day 2 of the book, he shared a poem that I feel led to share with y'all. Russell Kelfer wrote this poem and it sums up really well what I believe God is saying to all of us, although we may not be still long enough to hear. I know for me, listening to God is not my greatest strength.
I pray that as you read this you can feel God's loving gaze on YOUR life and that you are emboldened to live in His purpose today.

You are who you are for a reason.
You're part of an intricate plan.
You're a precious and perfect unique design,
Called God's special woman or man.
You look like you for a reason.
Our God made no mistake.
He knit you together within the womb,
You're just what he wanted to make.
The parents you had were the ones he chose,
And no matter how you may feel,
They were custom-designed with God's plan in mind,
And they bear the Master's seal.
No, that trauma you faced was not easy.
And God wept that it hurt you so;
But it was allowed to shape your heart
So that into his likeness you'd grow.
You are who you are for a reason,
You've been formed by the Master's rod.
You are who you are, beloved,
Because there is a God!

This is what God says about you. YOU are no accident. YOU have a purpose, and God LOVES YOU!!! Listen, you have a PURPOSE. God has a PLAN and REASON for your life. YOU are SPECIAL, CHOSEN, PRECIOUS, DESIGNED & FORMED by God, BELOVED.
